warden incident report - 27th of May - filed by Neil Howie for Stephanie Brown
There only seems to be the flood, this week, but that's got... problems of it's own.
Does anyone have a definitive idea what it might be? I have a sneaking suspicion, but it's hard to know just from observing, as I've been unaffected. [as far as he knows.]
So far, from what I've seen, we've had:
- Infestations - Rats (O'Brien) and bats (Prefect).
- Inflicted injuries/pains of varying kinds (Angelica Sexby, Sylvanas Windrunner, Amanda Young, and several others)
- Theft/removal of property (Vila) - this could be an isolated incident and not flood related, admittedly. I can investigate, if nobody else wants to.It's not like I have anything else to do.
- Uncharacteristic behaviour (Narvin, Hoffman, to name a few)
- Locked in/out of places. (Patrick was locked in Zero, the Doctor is locked out of places.
- Change in physical appearance (Edward Sexby only, I think?)
Can anyone find a link between these things? As I... can certainly see a potential one for some of these things, but... he wouldn't do that, would he? [oops, personal opinion. Back to the facts.]
On a much more serious note, since the flood started, there have been two reported deaths.
- Rinzler was found dead by Miss Parker, who made a video record of some of the scene. A few people were going to help her. Has anyone investigated properly yet, and found or talked to the main suspect?
- Tim Drake was reported to be dead by Stephanie Brown. [filtered away from Steph. If he can manage it.] And if everyone could account for their weapons, just to prove to her that Tim isn't dead, that'd be appreciated. I believe the flood is making her believe it despite all evidence otherwise, and I've tried to make her question it, as I'm sure many of you have too, and it's not working. So I'm not sure what to do with that. If you have talked to her, have you noticed her... go weird? Like in a trance weird? [/Back to regular filters.]
I'd also like to remind everyone to contribute to the Weapons Catalogue if you own such a thing. [reminding you is what Howie does.]
Departures (apologies for forgetting earlier): Inmates - Ray,
Wardens - B'Elanna.
The next report will be filed by Una Persson.

I think, to use someone else's phrase, it's turning the sin against the sinner.
[pause]
And that makes me incredibly ill at ease. He shouldn't do things like that. It's tantamount to torture or at least retribution in some places, bearing in mind some of the 'sins' people have committed here...
I stole that phrase off an inmate. If that's what this really is, I'm actually kind of angry about it.
But it's only a theory.

[And that... that actually makes a lot of sense to Patrick, who is now starting to have a very strong suspicion about how he ended up here.] Kinda an over dramatic way to point out no one's perfect oah whatever. Which inmate suggested it, out of curiosity?

It's more than over dramatic, it's downright immoral in my view. Unjust, too, but I can't quite believe he'd put people through physical and mental suffering... oh, who am I kidding, it's the Admiral, isn't it?
That's not... what I meant, by the inmate. The inmate uses that phrase to describe what he does to people. Turns their sin against them. So now, if this is right, the Admiral is following in an inmate's footsteps. Reassuring. Really bloody reassuring.

I don't know, how intentional is this? Floods ah usually just him bein' a terrible driver, right? So maybe it's just fuckin' terrible luck.
no subject
I don't know. I might have been here too long to believe it's all an accident.
I hope and pray it is, because if this is intentional, I'm appalled, to be honest.

Since we're never gonna get an answer, might be safer to just think it's an accident.
