Warden Incident Report - 14th of October - filed by Dick Grayson
Incidents
- An unknown assailant attacked and killed Remus Lupin, and attempted to frame Aleera. The incident was investigated by Edward Nygma, George Crabtree and myself. Nygma linked Coyolxauhqui’s DNA to evidence found at the crime scene, and Commander Tucker reported that Jim Moriarty was the one who put her up to it.
- Hoffman, while still a vampire, escaped from Zero and attacked David Harris. Will Parry intervened, and Kay brought Hoffman back down to Zero. Considering this happened on the 15th of last month, I’d assume the situation’s been laid to rest.
- Wanda Maximoff was kidnapped by Franklin Mott during Hoffman’s rampage, and was eventually rescued by Luke Cage after several wardens looked for her.
- After port, Edward Sexby – thinking the Admiral had left Angelica back in port – attacked and killed Cissie King-Jones and Chief Stildyne, and attacked the Marquis and his dog, but was talked down by a group of wardens lead by Jane Brunswick.
- David Harris was attacked by an unknown assailant in the CES and was brought to the infirmary, as reported by Will Parry. With recent events, I’d assume the assailant was actually Rachel while shape shifted.
- Right after the honesty flood, Mark Hoffman confronted Rex Lewis in the inmate showers. Rex hit Hoffman, who attacked him. Iago intervened before Hoffman could seriously injure him, and I stepped in to break up the fight. The involved parties have all already been spoken to, and anyone with further questions should go to them or their wardens.
- Amanda Young attacked Mark Hoffman not long after the previously mentioned incident. Any further questions can be directed to Lupin or Sarah.
- Rachel took Rex, Rhade, Alan Wake, Jim Profit and Drake Stone hostage while impersonating Will Graham. The hostages were released, and Rachel was brought down to Zero by a team of wardens.
Announcements
After the honesty flood, inmates began randomly receiving files on their wardens. These are apparently just as detailed as the files we receive on our inmates.
Floods
There was a flood starting on September 26th that lasted until the 30th where those affected without meaning to told everyone the truth, often to the point of giving out too much information.
Ports
On September 17th, we stopped in a port that seemed to emulate a generic fairytale/Disney princess movie in both setting, period and tone. Several people fell overboard and were assimilated into the port environment, and those who were returned home with the clothes they were wearing.
General Notes
At the beginning of October, the Barge started to undergo changes. People have reported dead, burnt leaves falling on deck instead of the usual fall leaves, and the deck itself looked rusted and dilapidated. This rust and dilapidation has continued over the course of the month, and lights have begun to flicker or even go out randomly in different parts of the Barge, sometimes for decently long periods of time at night. However, Commander Tucker has reported that the engines are still functioning normally, so whatever’s damaging the ship hasn’t extended to its actual function.
The communicators have also been malfunctioning, sometimes posting publicly by accident or sending private messages to the wrong people, and some posts have been badly garbled by static. Commander Tucker reported that he and Jim Kirk took apart his communicator and couldn’t find anything wrong with the actual structure of the device, so it’s probably a part of whatever’s going on here.
There have also been reports of hearing strange noises, voices, footsteps, or whistling at varying locations and times, but with little to no evidence of whoever this is. People have reported specifically hearing someone wandering by their room at night, whistling, but have seen no sign of whoever it is.
Communicators and other objects have started to burn people when touched, without warning, getting either extremely hot or extremely cold. So far, it seems like it’s mostly metal things.
People reported a few months ago that doors had begun to lock randomly, and since all this other stuff happened, it’s become much more frequent. People have been locked out of their rooms and public areas for anywhere between a few seconds and several hours, and sometimes it seems like another person is on the other side of the door. Upon further investigation when the door unlocks, there’s been no evidence of whoever or whatever this might be.
And finally, some people have reported seeing people watching them out of the corner of their eyes, only to see nothing when they turn around. Agent K and Edward Nygma were able to get a few photos of whatever these are. Kay hypothesized that they are the former workers on the Barge who left some time ago, and they might not be responsible for what’s going on.

[And swapping to voice:] So, it’s been over a month since we’ve done one of these. Are people still interested in keeping up with this, or should we call it quits?
[ooc: BEFORE ANYONE REPLIES TO THIS WITH STUFF DICK HAS MISSED he really wouldn’t have missed it, but I have because LJ will only let me view my flist 250 entries back and that got me to the start of October. xD The rest of the stuff I got from the log comm, ooc comm and the stuff I could remember, so I’m sure I’ve missed something.
SO if there’s a major plot I derped and forgot about, or something your character told the whole Barge that was super important that I've skipped over, let me know in an OOC comment and I’ll add it in. This also goes for if your character hasn't actually introduced themselves by name to the Barge yet, since I went off the app page, not people's intro posts.
ETA: AND A NOTE FOR NEW PEOPLE, these are all automatically warden filtered, but if there's an ooc note you want to drop about your inmate character, let me know. :D]

Any idea when this business with the boogeymen is going to stop, by the way? I tried to throw my blanket at one and nothing happened.

And I'm not sure. The popular theory is at least by the end of the month, but I'm not a supernatural specialist, so my guess is as good as yours, unfortunately.
